What’s guaranteed hire car cover?

Our comprehensive car insurance includes a small hatchback courtesy car as standard. It’s provided while your car is with a Prima-approved repairer. 

But if you add  guaranteed hire car cover (previously known as upgraded courtesy car cover), you’ll get a temporary replacement vehicle that’s:

• Also provided if your car’s stolen or written off, not just during repairs
• A near match of your own car, rather than a small hatchback

You'll get it for up to 14 days.

How to add guaranteed hire car cover

You'll see the option to add guaranteed hire car cover when you buy or renew your car insurance with us.

For now, you can't add this cover mid-way through your policy.
