I have a current credit agreement with Close Brothers. How will the switch to Abound affect me?

We’re currently switching our premium finance partner from Close Brothers to Abound. This is because Close Brothers have decided to scale back on providing premium finance to car insurance customers. 

But if you pay monthly for your current Prima car insurance policy, you might still have an active credit agreement with Close Brothers. 

If so, don’t worry…

Your current credit agreement won’t be affected

Your current credit agreement and Prima insurance policy won’t be affected at all.

Close Brothers will just collect your payments as usual until your current Prima policy ends.

It’s only at renewal that anything will change.

What happens at renewal 

If you want to renew with us and continue paying monthly for your Prima insurance next year, you’ll need to move over to Abound. So it’ll be Abound that provides your finance and collects your payments from renewal. 

This means that your cover won’t renew automatically – even if you set it to. You’ll need to renew your cover yourself, so you can get set up with Abound at the same time. 
 

Rest assured that it’s quick and easy to renew though. We’ll email you 30 days before your current policy ends with your renewal price and all the details.
