Is Prima based and regulated in the UK?

Yes.

Prima (or “Prima Subsidiary Ltd”, as we’re officially known) is registered in England, under company number 12728615. Our registered office is Alto Building, 30 Stamford Street, London, SE1 9LS.

Since August 18th 2025, we’ve been directly authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the UK’s financial services regulator. This means we meet their high standards when it comes to protecting customers and doing the right thing. You can find us on the FCA Register, under the firm reference number (FRN) 1031191.

Before then, we were an Appointed Representative of Pro MGA Solutions Ltd, who is also authorised and regulated by the FCA (under FRN 770419). So if you bought a policy with us before August 18th 2025, you might notice Pro MGA’s name on some of the documents you were sent at the time. Don’t worry though. There’s no change to your cover or to the way we support you.
