Will I need to pay an excess?
Anytime you make a claim, you'll need to pay an amount towards it, known as an excess.
We'll let you know how much excess you'll need to pay as soon as you contact us to make the claim. But you can also check the amount in Your Information & Policy Schedule, which we would have emailed to you when you bought your policy.
If the incident was someone else’s fault, you'll still need to pay your excess. But you should get this money back later, once we've recovered all losses from the person responsible.
