Why am I being asked for additional documents?

Sometimes we ask for additional documents to check that the information we have about you or your car is 100% accurate.

For instance, we might ask to see proof of your no claims bonus (NCB), your address or your driving licence details.

We do this for a couple of reasons:

1. To make sure that you’re covered. Inaccurate policy information (even if provided by accident) can invalidate your insurance. So by checking your information is all correct, we can confirm that you're protected.

2. To keep our prices low. These checks help us prevent fraud, meaning we can afford to keep bringing you great value.

We might ask for additional documents when you first buy your cover or mid-way through your policy. Whenever we ask for documents, it’s really important that you provide them as quickly as possible.

If we’ve asked you for documents, and you have any questions or concerns, please contact us right away.
