Am I covered if my personal belongings are damaged or stolen?

Yes. 

With Prima, you’re covered for up to £250 if your personal belongings in your car are damaged or lost as a result of an accident, fire or theft.

It's important to still take care to keep your items safe though. Unfortunately, we can't cover personal belongings that are stolen if your car’s left unattended:

• While unlocked
• With the engine running
• With the keys on or in your car
• With personal belongings left on show inside 

And while we try to cover all the important stuff, we can't cover you for damaged or lost:

• Money
• Credit or debit cards 
• Stamps, tickets and vouchers
• Documents
• Laptops or tablet computers
• Mobile phones
• Electronic navigational equipment
• Goods carried for any business
