Am I covered if my personal belongings are damaged or stolen?

Yes. 

With Prima, you’re covered if your personal belongings in your car are damaged or lost as a result of an accident, fire or theft.

We’ll pay how much your items were worth at the time of the incident, up to a certain amount. This amount depends on what cover plan you have with us. 

We’ll pay up to:

• £250 if you have our Prima Essentials or Prima plan
• £500 if your have our Prima Plus plan
• £1,000 if you have our Prima Premier plan

What's not covered

It's important to still take care to keep your items safe. Unfortunately, we can't cover personal belongings that are stolen if your car is left unattended:

• While unlocked
• With the engine running
• With the keys on or in your car
• With personal belongings left on show inside 

And while we try to cover all the important stuff, we can't cover you for damaged or lost:

• Money
• Credit or debit cards 
• Stamps, tickets and vouchers
• Documents
• Laptops or tablet computers
• Mobile phones
• Electronic navigational equipment
• Goods carried for any business
