Why has a monthly direct debit payment been taken after I cancelled my policy?

You can cancel your Prima car insurance at any time. 

But if you pay for your policy in monthly instalments, and you cancel mid-way through a monthly period, Close Brothers (our premium finance partner) might still collect your next scheduled direct debit payment. 

Don’t worry though. If this is the case, we’ll let you know when you cancel your policy. Plus, we’ll factor into any refund amount, so you won’t be overcharged.
